TipTill
TipTill Privacy Policy
Short version: We collect no data. TipTill has no account and no tracking. Your shifts, tips and settings stay on your iPhone and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. We (the developer) cannot see them.
Who we are
TipTill is made by Damian Witkowski (Rüttenscheider Str. 323, 45131 Essen, Germany). Contact: d.witko@icloud.com.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter: shifts, cash and card tips, hours, sales, tip-out rules, jobs, goals, side pockets, notes, checkout photos, reminders and settings. It is stored locally on your iPhone. We have no server that receives this data.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so it can sync between your devices and survive a new phone. It is protected by your Apple Account; we cannot access it. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Free app
TipTill is free and has no in-app purchases. If we add optional paid features later, we will update this policy before they ship.
Permissions we ask for

What we do not do
- No account, no sign-in, no email collection.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. No cross-app tracking (no IDFA).
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- We never ask for or store a Social Security Number.
Exports and sharing
CSV files, backup files, PDF reports and share images are created on your iPhone and only go where you send them (Files, AirDrop, Mail and so on).
Tax information
Tax features (for example the “No Tax on Tips” tracker) are estimates to help you keep records. They are not tax advice.
Deleting your data
More → Backup & sync → Delete all data removes everything from the app and, with iCloud sync on, from your iCloud. Deleting the app also removes local data. Deleted shifts stay in “Recently deleted” for 30 days unless you delete everything.
Children
TipTill is meant for adults who work for tips. It is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU).
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to export or delete; you control your data in the app. EU/EEA users may also contact their data protection authority.
This website
tiptill.com uses no first-party analytics or marketing cookies. Our hosting provider Cloudflare may use security cookies, such as __cf_bm, to protect the website against bots and abuse. Like any web server, the host may process your IP address briefly to deliver the pages.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
